Meet The Neighbors: New and Larger Quarters
January 4, 2020 Lise Grato

This month we’re updating you on some current Downtown businesses that have made the move to larger quarters.

Sniffany’s Pet Boutique

Growing for the third time in two years, Sniffany’s Pet Boutique has doubled its space expanding into an adjacent store in The Flinn Block.

The added space has allowed owners Joe & Angie Scavone to host pet experts, product demos, nail painting, and pet adoptions; hold gatherings and have other cat & dog events.

They have also expanded their retail offerings to include a larger variety of cat merchandise, enlarged photo studio, and additional lines of dog food.

Sniffany’s is located at 222 1st Ave. W.

Emma’s Sale Closet

If you’ve always loved peeking into the sales closet at Emma Downtown, now you can step just across the street where the “closet” has grown into a fun pocket store.

Mother/daughter partners, Peggy and Mandy, worked with Spearit Beads to carve out a perfect mini retail space. Here shoppers can find discounts on last season’s décor, clothing and accessories plus some new finds.

Emma’s Sale Closet is located at 421 1st Ave. W, between Spearit Beads and The Natty Dresser.

Homegrown Oregon Foods

Have you been wanting to enjoy your gluten and dairy-free favorites in a fun sit-down restaurant? Now you can.

Homegrown Oregon Foods has moved and expanded to invite diners to enjoy lunch and dinner Monday-Friday from 11 am-7 pm. Featuring Linn County’s only 100% gluten and dairy free kitchen,

Homegrown Oregon Foods continues to offer take-out, meal delivery, and home-brewed Kombucha.

Homegrown Oregon Foods is located at 212 1st St. E , near Baker St.

Downtown Waffle / Casetta de Pasta

Looking to expand their dining area and menu. Owner Mandi Johnsrud only had to look out the window to spot a collaborative opportunity with neighbor Dave Harms at Casetta di Pasta.

Downtown Waffle will continue to be open Wednesday-Sunday for breakfast and lunch offering their signature liege waffles with a variety of savory and sweet toppings, breakfast sandwiches, biscuits and gravy. Their menu will slowly expand to feature a variety of scrambles, breakfast specials and more.

Casetta di Pasta will continue to offer casual dine-in, take-out and delivery from an extensive menu which includes pasta, salads, soup, wraps, pizza and desserts! They are open 7 Days for lunch and dinner.

The restaurant duo is located at 300 2nd Ave. SW in Two Rivers Market.
