After a four-year recess, Mixology Madness returns on Sunday, April 21, and we have invited 10 local bartenders to join us and share a secret cocktail.
A fundraiser for the Albany Downtown Association, Mixology Madness is Albany’s one-of-a-kind cocktail contest, where 100 attendees will sample and vote on a delicious assortment of creative cocktails by our local mixologists.
The event will be held in two parts. The first, 4-6 pm, is a blind tasting by our attendees and sponsor judges to determine which cocktail they like best. Contestants will be hidden behind a curtain, creating their secret potion for tastings. Then, votes will be cast and counted.
At 6:15 pm, the bartenders will step out from behind the curtain and be recognized for their creativity! The winners will be announced, and all of the bartenders will mix full servings of their competition cocktail until the end of the event at 8 pm.
Located at Sybaris Bistro, attendees will enjoy amazing appetizers and the chance to bid on awesome silent auction items!
