The
Crab Fest
is Back!
Crab enthusiasts will be excited to learn that after a two-year COVID hiatus, the in-person event will be held on Saturday, February 11 from noon – 7 pm.
Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Greater Albany on Saturday of Super Bowl weekend, the GAR Crab Fest is held at Calapooia Brewing, 140 NE Hill St. in Albany.
Presenting sponsor Boshart Trucking returns this year as well!
Tickets are $50 and are available in advance on the Rotary’s website here: www.greateralbanyrotary.org
Each ticket comes with crab and pulled pork, or a vegan option, The Depot’s famous clam chowder, salad, rolls, cookies and all the fixin’s.
Soft drinks and coffee are free while wine, beer and cocktails are sold by Calapooia.
Be sure and enter the drawing for the Booze Barrel where you can win wine, beer and spirits; tickets are just $10!
This year’s live music lineup brings back favorites from 2019.
Starting the day is The Bush Pilots on stage from 12:30 – 1:30 pm, the Albany German Band at 1:45 – 2:45 pm and Southern Crossing with two performances – 3:30 -4:30 pm and 5:30-6:30 pm.
Last year, a “Super Boil” event replaced the traditional GRAC Crab Fest fundraiser.
The “Super Boil” offered two to-go options – Crab Bag, plus the popular Cajun Boil Bag, brought back from fall 2021.
