Downtown Trick or Treat 2026

Celebrate Halloween in Downtown Albany with a family-friendly Trick or Treating and a Costume Contest on Saturday, Oct. 24th.

Trick-or-Treating is 11 am to 1 pm. Just look for the orange and black balloons marking the participating Albany Downtown Association member businesses.

The Albany Downtown Association will continue with our popular costume contest on Facebook. Just have ADA take a photo of your little princess or goblin at the Xtreme Graphix photo station, and then photos will be posted on Facebook for a public vote.

Winners will be selected on Facebook. The contestant’s photo with the most likes and shares in each category wins. The deadline to vote is Thursday, October 29th, at noon. Winners will be announced via Facebook and the ADA website on Halloween.

Contest age groups are:
-Babies: 0-2
-Pre-K: 3-5
-Kids ages 6-8
-Kids ages 9-11
-Kids ages 12-14
-Teens & Adults 15+
-Family/Group

The winner in each age group will receive a Downtown Kid Meal, an Albany Carousel token, and a ticket to The Pix Theatre. The runner-up will receive a movie ticket. The adult winner will receive $25 in Downtown Dollars. The group will win a Downtown gift basket.
