The results are in. ADA’s Promotion Committee will screen The Princess Bride on Friday, August 11, in Downtown Albany. The movie was selected to celebrate our 20th season by members of the community through an online nominating and voting process.
With Monteith Riverpark under construction, there will be just one movie night this summer. For a bit of nostalgia, the movie will be shown on the wall behind The Albany Eagles, where we held Movies by Moonlight for 11 years before moving to the park. Chairs can be placed starting at 7 pm. The movie will start at dusk, around 8:55 pm.
This year’s movie concessions start at 8 pm are a fundraiser for The Scouts and include Pix Popcorn, ice cream novelties, candy, and sodas. Attendees are encouraged to enjoy dinner at one of our 25+ Downtown restaurants before the show.
Bring a receipt from a Downtown business for a chance to win a DVD of the movie or another prize.
