If you like generous portions and have a taste for some great teriyaki then head Downtown to Toki Teriyaki.

Eric Kim and his parents, Ester and Hansoo, bought Toki Teriyaki in January and have been cooking up fresh Korean and Asian favorites ever since.

Eric attended Le Cordon Bleu in Portland from 2015 to 2017. Studying French cuisine and culinary arts, he graduated in 2017. For now, the Kim family is following the tradition of the Toki Teriyaki recipes, but don’t be surprised to find some creative specials in the future.

Eric and his family liked Albany and took the opportunity to make the move from Portland when they heard Toki Teriyaki was up for sale.

Everyone in the family has a favorite dish. For Esther, it’s the Beef Teriyaki. Eric can’t decide between the panko breaded Chicken Katsu and charbroiled Chicken Teriyaki. Hansoo likes to keep it simple. His favorite is miso soup.

The menu includes a variety of appetizers, entrees and combo plates, including Shrimp Skewers, Spring Rolls, Ramen, Yakisoba, Udon, Beef Teriyaki, Beef Ribs, Curry Rice and Chicken Balls with house sweet and sour sauce.

Toki Teriyaki is open Monday-Friday 11 am to 8 pm. Watch their Facebook and Instagram pages for specials and holiday hours.

Toki Teriyaki is located at Two Rivers Market and offers casual dine in and take out. In a hurry? Phone orders can be placed by calling (541) 926-5138.
