Join the Albany Downtown Association for the annual Community Tree Lighting in Historic Downtown Albany!
Everyone loves Christmas time, and what better way to kick off the season than a FREE afternoon of merriment!??
Day of Event Schedule:
- 2:00pm – Head downtown to explore local shops and restaurants. November 28th is “Shop Small Saturday”. Start the evening with some Christmas shopping downtown to get the merriment flowing.
- 4:00pm – Santa is Coming to Town!! In order to make his list and check it twice, Santa will be arriving to meet families and listen to Christmas wishes. Head to the Two Rivers Market parking lot to join the festivities.
- 6:00pm – Christmas Tree Lighting. Celebrate the Christmas season with the annual Albany Christmas Tree lighting. There will be live music, dancing, photo ops, hot cocoa, Grinch Alley, cookie decorating, LIVE reindeer and much more!
- *Event runs until 8pm.
Personalized street-pole Christmas trees are available for purchase in limited quantities. Be the first to sponsor downtown Albany Christmas joy and give back to the community. These trees will be hung around downtown so your donation is recognized all season! Visit the Operation Christmas Tree webpage for complete event, sponsorship, and purchasing information.
