Mixology Madness is the Albany Downtown Association’s signature cocktail competition and fundraising event, celebrating the creativity and craftsmanship of Downtown Albany’s most talented bartenders. Set within an enchanting masquerade atmosphere, the evening features inspired cocktail tastings, local bites, live music, and immersive experiences—all in support of a vibrant downtown community.

What: This annual fundraiser for the Albany Downtown Association is the don’t-miss event of the season. Step beyond the mask and into a night of spirits, elegance, and refined celebration at our Masquerade Ball.

Each attendee receives 10 tasting tickets, a wristband and a voting pamphlet.  Additional tastes, full-size contest cocktails, wine & beer are available for sale at the event.

Wondering what to wear?

The 2026 theme is Masquerade Ball. Attendees are encouraged to dress is formal attire with a masquerade style mask!
