You won’t want to miss Kraze Daze, July 9–11, a Downtown Albany tradition since 1898!

Originally known as Bargain Days, this beloved event began when Albany merchants brought their merchandise onto the sidewalks and invited shoppers downtown for special deals. Following World War II, the event became known as Crazy Daze, and this year we’re embracing a nostalgic spelling with Kraze Daze.

For more than a century, generations of Albany residents have strolled these historic streets in search of bargains, surprises, and community. Today, downtown merchants continue the tradition by filling the sidewalks with merchandise offered at krazy-good prices.

Inventory changes daily, so be sure to visit all three days—you never know what treasures you’ll find! While you’re here, explore our beautiful historic downtown, enjoy live music on Saturday afternoon, and treat yourself to delicious food, coffee, desserts, and drinks from our outstanding downtown eateries.
