Enjoy the sights and sounds of an old-fashioned holiday celebration in historic Downtown Albany. The annual interior Christmas Parlour Tour is Sunday, Dec. 8th from 2 to 7 p.m. An Albany tradition since 1979, each year the Christmas Parlour Tour features historic homes, which have been lovingly restored and beautifully decorated for the holidays.

This is your chance to visit several beautifully decorated historic homes and experience the sights and sounds of a Victorian-style holiday. Costumed carolers and vendors will delight you on your way. Chafin Farms horse-drawn wagons will take you through the Historic Downtown District, and Albany’s vintage trolley will be making rounds as well.

Tickets are $15 adults, $12 for seniors and groups of 10 or more people. Tickets for Monteith Historical Society Members are $10. Well-behaved children under 12 are admitted free with a paid adult. Admission includes hot drinks, entertainment and rides on the trolley and hay wagon. Proceeds benefit the Monteith House Museum.
