Albany Pride is back for its 7th annual celebration of love, diversity and acceptance on Saturday, June 22, from 9:30 am – 4 pm at the Linn County Courthouse, 300 4th Ave. SW in Downtown Albany.
Kicking off at 9:30 am, the rally will feature a multi-faith invocation, land acknowledgment and inspirational speakers. The annual march follows the rally.
Attendees can explore the all-ages festival which includes a drag show, talent show, informational and vendor booths, and the 1st Annual ‘Juneteenth at Pride.’
The festival site is adjacent to City Hall and the Linn County Court House on 4th Ave. between Ellsworth and Ferry St. and Broadalbin Street between 2nd and 4th Aves. The event is smoke and alcohol-free.
The 2024 Albany Pride T-shirt was designed and donated by No Dinx! This year’s shirt proceeds will be donated to Ophelia’s Place to support their Queer Space Group. Shirts are available at the event or presale at https://bit.ly/24pridetee.
