DESCRIPTION:Grab some gloves and join us for the Downtown Fall Clean-Up on Sunday\, October 4\, 2026. \nJoin the Albany Downtown Association’s Design Committee to pull weeds\, scrub signs\, rake and remove leaves starting at 9 am and continuing until noon. Bring tools if you have some\, and don’t forget to dress for the weather including a hat and sunscreen. We are very excited to be the host of the Oregon Main Street Conference this year in our own beautiful Downtown Albany. Please help us make our Downtown shine for all of our visitors from all around the state! \nPlease RSVP so that we can pre-assign projects and ensure we have enough water and treats for everyone. \nEveryone will meet at our office\, 126 Ferry Street SW. DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Halloween in Downtown Albany with a family-friendly Trick or Treating and a Costume Contest on Saturday\, October 31\, 2026. \nTrick-or-Treating is 11 am to 1 pm. Just look for the orange and black balloons marking the participating Albany Downtown Association member businesses. \n2026 Participating Member Businesses:\nTBA \nThe Albany Downtown Association will continue with our popular costume contest on Facebook. Just have ADA take a photo of your little princess or goblin at the Xtreme Graphix photo station\, and then photos will be posted on Facebook for a public vote. \nThe photo station is at the Albany Downtown Association. \nWinners will be selected on Facebook. The contestant’s photo with the most likes and shares in each category wins. The deadline to vote is Thursday\, November 5 at noon.
