DESCRIPTION:The largest Veterans Day Parade west of the Mississippi is on Tuesday\, Nov. 11\, 2026\, in Downtown Albany. The annual parade begins its march through the streets Downtown at 11 am. \nYou’ll want to line up early along the parade route. The parade starts on Pacific Boulevard and comes down the overpass to Downtown Albany on Lyon Street\, then turns left onto Second Avenue\, journeys to Ferry Street\, where it turns left again and heads to the Linn County Courthouse. \nWhat makes this parade unique here in the Northwest and around the country? The sheer magnitude of veterans in the parade\, the number of individual entries\, the number of people\, cars\, floats\, bands and military vehicles are the heart and soul of the parade. \nAlbany’s Veterans Day Parade tradition began when after the first parade in Downtown Albany\, it was determined that\, “Next year\, we can do better\, next year we can be bigger.” Year after year\, they do just that. \nDon’t miss this life-changing experience and a chance to say thank you to all our veterans – Soldiers\, Sailors\, Airmen and Marines – who have given their time and often their lives to protect our freedom. \n			\n				Learn More
