DESCRIPTION:Carriage of Shadows \nScare up some chills and thrills at the Monteith House Museum’s Carriage of Shadows! \nClimb aboard a horse-drawn wagon from Chafin Farms for an eerie journey through the shadowy streets of historic Downtown Albany. Along the way\, your guide will share ghostly tales and stories of unexplained happenings at more than 15 haunted locations. \nThe journey ends inside the historic Monteith House\, where flickering candlelight sets the scene for chilling stories and unexplained encounters associated with Albany’s oldest frame house. \nThe experience lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Costumes are encouraged. \nDates: October 9 and 10\, 2026\nTour times: 6:00\, 7:00\, 8:00 and 9:00 p.m.\nTickets: $20 per person \nCarriage of Shadows is a fundraiser benefiting the Monteith Historical Society and its work to preserve the Monteith House\, its collection of pioneer artifacts\, and provide educational opportunities for the public. \nEspañol\nCarriage of Shadows \n¡Disfrute de una noche de misterio y escalofríos en Carriage of Shadows del Museo Monteith House! \nSuba a una carreta tirada por caballos de Chafin Farms para recorrer las oscuras calles del centro histórico de Albany. The VIP Paranormal Experience offers a rare opportunity to take part in a paranormal investigation inside Albany’s historic Monteith House. \nIn a small group\, participants will spend approximately 2½ hours exploring the house and learning to use a variety of ghost-hunting equipment\, including EMF detectors\, spirit boxes and infrared cameras. Guides experienced in paranormal investigation will lead the group as you investigate reports of unexplained activity within the house. \nThis experience does not include a trolley ride. \nDates: October 10\, 17 & 24\, 2026\nTime: 10:30 p.m.–1:00 a.m.\nAdmission: $50 per person \nEspañol\nExperiencia Paranormal VIP \n¿Tiene nervios de acero y curiosidad por lo sobrenatural?
