Celebrate Halloween in Downtown Albany with our safe and friendly Downtown Facebook Costume Contest during Halloween Week – Monday-Friday, Oct. 26-30. There will also be Halloween fun starting on October 15 with a Halloween Character Hunt – see separate event for all the details!
Due to COVID-19, Downtown Trick-or-treating will NOT be held in 2020 to keep everyone safe.
To participate in Albany Downtown Association’s annual online costume contest just have our ADA volunteer take a photo of your little princess or goblin at the Xtreme Graphix photo station Monday-Friday, Oct. 26-30 between 3-5 pm.
The photo station location is TBA.
Photos will be posted on the ADA Facebook page on Halloween, Saturday, October 31. Contestants will be selected by the public. The contestant photos with the most likes and shares win. The deadline to vote is 6 pm on Sunday, November 1. Winners will be announced via Facebook and the ADA website on Tuesday, Nov 2.
Contest age groups will be determined by participation. The winner in each age group will receive a First Burger Kid Meal, an Albany Carousel token, and a ticket to The Pix Theatre. The runner up will receive a movie ticket.
